Singularity

Before the edge of anything
Before the first dividing line
Inside the start of everything
No separate yours or mine

Distance was a fiction
Mmm, mmm, mmm…
The beat of heat and friction
Mmm, mmm, mmm, yeah…

No boundary in the light
No stars to make the night

We were everything once
No space between us
I became me when I lost you
Singularity

Do you, do you, do you…
Remember the singularity?
The singularity

Then something pulled the center wide
And stretched us into something new
I felt the fracture deep inside
The moment I lost sight of you

I felt the distance grow
Mmm, mmm, mmm…
To something I don’t know
Mmm, mmm, mmm, yeah…
The structure split in two
And separated me from you

We were everything once
No space between us
I became me when I lost you
Singularity

Do you, do you, do you…
Remember the singularity?
The singularity

If I could fold the distance down
Divide the space between
Would I dissolve back into us
Or lose what I have been?

If I could halt the flow of time
Destroy the ticking clock
Would you recognize what I’ve become
And would your heart unlock?

Mmm, mmm, mmm…
Mmm, mmm, mmm, yeah…

We were everything once
No space between us
I became me when I lost you
Singularity

Do you, do you, do you…
Remember the singularity?
The singularity

Mmm, mmm, mmm…
Mmm, mmm, mmm, yeah…

I became me
I became me
Became me when I lost you
Singularity

I became me
I became me
Became me when I lost you
Singularity

Remember
Remember
Remember the singularity?

Do you, do you, do you…
Remember the singularity?
The singularity

We were everything
We were everything
Everything, everything once

Mmm, mmm, mmm…
Mmm, mmm, mmm, yeah…

Do you remember?
Do you remember?

Remember the singularity?
The singularity

Mmm, mmm, mmm…
Mmm, mmm, mmm, yeah…
