About Kismet
I like the confidence at the start of Kismet. I can let myself enjoy the night without needing it to explain everything that came before. Then someone gets close, the rules get less clear, and that certainty starts to slip.
These songs leave room for wanting, doubt, and the occasional urge to shut the whole world out. I don't think those feelings take turns as neatly as I'd like them to.
