Ascension — cover artwork by Johnny McAndrews

About Ascension

I can put a fear into a ruined city, or give it a body made of metal, and still find myself asking a very small question: would you stay? That question keeps finding its way through Ascension, even as the world around it gets stranger.

There’s a story running through these songs. I’d like you to find your way through it before I tell you where everything leads. The machines and the wreckage give me a way to get close to things that can be difficult to say without them.
